Product Summary

The SN7438DR is a quadruple 2-input positive-nand buffer with open-collector outputs which contains four independent 2-input NAND buffer gates with open-collector outputs. The open-collector outputs require pull-up resistors to perform correctly. The SN7438DR may be connected to other open-collector outputs to implement active-low wired-OR or active-high wired-AND functions. Open-collector device is often used to generate high VOH levels.
